Unknown number calls, crashes MJ

I keep getting a call about every 10 minutes like clockwork. When it comes in, as soon as the accept/ignore window pops up, MJ shuts down. The number that shows on the call log is not a normal phone number. its always 323323, sometimes in parenthesis with random letters in front of it. Because of this I can't leave my MJ on so I can receive calls and if I'm talking to someone I can only talk for so long before this number dials in again and shuts down MJ.

I'm using MJ with an Intel Mac and I am in South Korea. If I put up my firewall with heavy restrictions, then the call doesn't come through anymore but I can't call out anymore. I'm not very good with firewall options so maybe there is a middle ground that will help me out.

Please help me though, I've enjoyed my MJ so far, but this number that keeps calling me is making it useless!!

To use MJ you don't need to open any inbound ports on your firewall (i.e., no port forwarding). The MJ client only needs to reach port 5070 on a host named "proxy1.{cityname}.talk4free.com" when you start the softpone. And, a port in the range of 10000-20000 on a host named "vms1.{cityname}.talk4free.com" when you actually place or receive a call. (It may also connect to port 80 and/or 443 on other MJ hosts to do things like upgrade, etc.).

If you're really into investigating what is happening, you could run Wireshark and call yourself to trace the activity that occurs when you receive a (normal) call. Save that capture for future comparison. Then run Wireshark, waiting for the "call of death". Save that capture too. Then compare to two. In both cases you should stop all other network activity. It will make it easier to read the capture. Close your browser. IM. Email.
