want caller i.d. to display in my LAN phone info window

how can i get caller i.d. to display on the LAN telephone that i have plugged into my magicjack? the phone instructions say that i need to subscribe for the service from the phone service company that i use. i use magicjack for my phone service exclusively. i have no other phone service and actually can't afford any other.

all magicjack will do is display the phone number of the caller on your phone, it won't display name.
works fine on my GE 2.4 Ghz cordless, you can pick up one anywhere, I think i got mine at walgreens, it's about 10 bucks or less. so it could be your phone.

otherwise you can try a powered HUB.

do a search on the forum for other ideas.

Do you use wireless to connect to your router? I've read that cordless phones in the 2.4ghz range can interfere with wireless G.

yes, 2.4 ghz phone works fine with my netgear wireless G. if you have issues just change the broadcast channel on the wireless router.
