We are experiencing a minor issue with magicJack. When we call someone, every so often, there is a noise as if someone is hitting a number on the keypad. However, we use a Panasonic speaker phone all of the time and I know for sure neither of us are hitting the keypad. Sometimes it happens at a 2 minute interval, sometimes it happens at a 5 minute interval ... it is totally random.
I didn't notice it until people we are calling said, "quit hitting the keypad on your phone" ... when we said we weren't, that started the investigation.
Trying to figure things out, during a phone call, I looked at the softphone and I see number entries in the white area of the softphone, but I know for sure we aren't hitting any numbers.
I have a screenshot, but haven't posted it yet ... but can.
Anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Re: Keypad beeps while talking on magicJack
It's been reported that certain tones of voices can trigger the a beep, like it detected a DTMF tone. Someone (Holman?) said it seems to happen more with female voices.
