It may be a good idea to protect poorly designed USB circuitry from MJ's high power requirement. And, it often fixes problems associated with handset use.

Their web page says they'll have it in a week or two. It also says they have another one they recommend for MJ. It has a 1amp power supply instead of a 2amp for the out-of-stock item. If it were me, I'd wait a week or two.jarm wrote:Mark: TAHNKS. I got it right know. Actually I look on the link but not clicked over the "This USB hub". fyi right now the hub is SOLD OUT.
Any powered hub with a beefy power supply should work. I think the risk of purchasing a powered USB hub is that they may skimp on the AC adapter's power capacity. But, I suppose the hub itself could have circuitry to limit power to any port. So, if it were me, I'd just wait a week or two for the one that's been known to work with MJ.
The seller also sounds like a good person. "Iselblue" bought one and posted here that he thought it was broken. He received a response from the seller explaining how the LED lights work. Considering it's only a $18 product (the AC adapter is probably worth that much), the buyer was impressed with the time the seller spent explaining things to him.
