Call Waiting feature??

Could somebody tell me if the Call Wating Feature work fine using MJ with a telephone?

Mine work fine on MJ soft but every time do I push "flash" I can get the 2nd call but when I tried to come back the 1th call doen't work. I tested 2 phones, also I tested my 2nd MJ with diferent number, all with the same issue. Also I installed a GE USB powered hub (output 5V 4.0A) without any improvement.

Any suggestion will be appreciate.

This can also happen when using the "Hold" feature of magicJack. When you take them off hold, you can hear them. but they cannot hear you.

Yes Dan I have the same issue too.

Mine seems to work just fine, and the music on hold is a nice touch.

If someone calls me and I put them on HOLD, when I click RESUME it gives me a dial tone, and the other person hears no more music but stays connected...but there is no way I can get them back on the line because it is disconnected on my end..... what is the deal with this? I have tried on other computers, I have had others call me from cell phones, lan lines in different states....HOLD button works but RESUME disconnects call!!! Very frustrating

I have the same issue. I spoke with an MJ rep last night who told me this is a known issue and they are trying to find a resolution. For some reason, I was actually satisfied with this answer. I had tried to chat with MJ twice before last night, and they had me try all this stuff that did not work. The last try was to go to Start, Run, type in msconfig, go to Startup, and disable cdloader. The computer restarts and the Call Waiting feature is supposed to work, but of course, it doesn't. I had someone ask for a replacement to see if that would work. I am thinking about doing the same thing. Besides this issue, MJ has been good to me thus far. I'm trying to eliminate another bill to save money even though my Vonage service has been excellent.

I received a replacement and nothing has changed. Also, sometimes after a very long day or two, if I pick up the phone I head the dial tone on and off like it's pulsating. Of course I cannot make a call and if I try and restart it, nothing will change unless I restart my computer. You can't complaine for $20/year though.
