Friday-JAN 29TH-Not Able To Place Alot Of Calls Today

I have no idea why I can't get through on most the calls I'm trying to make right now. They don't ring the number at all. Ooma is looking so much better! Anyone else not able to make calls today?-I'm on the West Coast-360 area

I just tried calls to two different area codes using a Panasonic handset. Both calls went through but as soon as dialing was completed MJ went back to dial tone and then silence. There was no audio in either direction but the call was still connected. The connection didn't break until I hung up the MJ handset.

So your call went through? This just started tonight. I used the phone ealier but now it dials but won't ring the number. No connection at all. I tried both phones and I am just assuming it's the overloaded Friday night MJ servers. I gotta break down and get Ooma. I can't keep going with this hit and miss system anymore. I'll pay the big 250 to Ooma and be done with any more bills or technical problems for along time, until they fold. If they stay around 6 months I'll have my money back with all the long distance calls I make.

I'm in year 3 with MJ and this year has been the worst as far as having down time and bad audio. They refuse to put money into doing a real upgrade and trying to compete with the Bells. So, other outfits will take the customers from them. Too bad. It was good at first.-Thats wierd!-As I am writing this, the phone rings, so I know it calls in, but hoping it was someone I wanted to talk to it was someone speaking Spanish! Wrong number! I'm having a bad day!
