Voice breaks up during call

I've been using magicjack for about a month now and overall I'm pretty satisfied. However, every now and then the voice of the person on the other end will break up and my voice will break up to them. I wanted to know if there are any ports I need to forward or if I should look at the QoS settings on my router. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
