Is there any way to get an actual busy signal when a dialed number is busy and also not drop to a dial tone? Also, if I'm running MJ as a service but occasionally want to load the softphone too how can I do this? It doesn't seem to want to load when running MJ as a service.

Welcome. Perhaps add your question to one of the existing discussions on "no busy signal goes back to dial tone" rather than starting a new thread. As far as I know there is no solution yet. Others have suggested some work-arounds you might try. There's a ton of info in these forums.
