Asterisk with MagicJack
Just getting started wiht Asterisk. And wondering if anyone has got MJ to work with Asterisk?

Have a look around on the site there is a lot of information on Asterisk and ATA's. Give the search feature a shot...

As of right now, due to the recent upgrades in magicJack, one can not run magicJack on ATAs.
SIP passwords are now up to 20 characters and are encrypted.
Yes, we do know it's at least 4 - 20 characters, and a combo of numbers & letters.
So even if you do get Cain to start trying to decrypt your password - it's going to take a long long long time.
Most likely you'll will have to order your second year of service before Cain even starts to come close to decrypting the password.
Your best bet is to have a little patience, and wait about a month or so for magicJack to allow ATAs/BYODs.
Not trying to be a jerk, but.....
