No Dial Tone!!!! Please Help

hey Friends,

Can anyone tell me why i am not getting a dial tone ?

I can use my softphone and call and receive calls but i can't use it through my cordless, or my cord phones.
When i connect my cordless i hear my self loud. and
When i connect Cord nothing happens except i hear beeps of the buttons i press on the phone.
What do you think ? is it the device problem ?
I have done all the alternate ways to check like, using different phones, using different phone cable, shifting to different USB ports, shifting to another computer. but nothing works.
Please help ... Thanks

Are your phones intended for use in North America? If so, you may simply have a defective dongle.

that's what i thought !!!!
so this is the end and i have to return the device and ask for replacement.
