leaving pc with mj on 24/7

MJ should not cause any problems any more than any other program or device normally running on a pc 24/7. Only possible exception is that MJ technical recomends MJ be ocasionally unpluged for about a minute and then plugged back into the USB jack. I am not sure what the interval is but you can check the FAQ on web site. I am running my MJ 24/7 on a HP thin client and I have installed several MJs on laptops and pcs for friends who leave their pcs on 24/7 without any problems other than as recommended above.

Mine runs 24/7 for months at a time, last time I messed around with it I ended up with the dreaded USB not connected error!!

Reboot the machine if you must, avoid repeated disconnect/reconnect of the USB dongle. Just my advice.. :)

I second the advice. I have my machine running 24x7 and only pull out the dongle when all else fails. The machine has been running w/o a reboot for about 30 days (whoo hoo - hard to believe its a windows box...) and MJ has not been removed or reset in all that time. I have had instances where it wouldn't complete calls and a simple restart from the advanced user menu didn't work. Only pulling out the dongle and reinserting it would fix the problem.
