What is magicFix?

I see under Menu Advanced users Run magicFix. What is it? I hesitate to run it until I know what it does.

It updates the version of the MJ software to the latest release.

I thought it updated automatically. I didn't use mine for a few months and when I decided to try it again it said lucky me it was updating. Is this the same kind of update?

Yep - sometimes it doesn't recognize it needs an update right away. This is a way to force it. You can also just download the latest software release from the MJ website and just run it.
