Just got a PAP2V2 working on MJ.
Question: if I'm traveling can I use the MJ USB device while my ATA is still connected at my office or can only one device be registered at one time?

You can only have one device registered with their servers at a time. Plus, you may risk them disconnecting your service if they notice 2 devices trying to use your account at the same time, as it is a violation of their terms of service. I don't think they have disconnected anyone yet for this, but it is a possibility one should consider.
Re: MJ PAP2V2 ATA & USB Simultaneously
I read many threads in this forum and thought that the MJ WOULD NOT work with PAP2 V2 because the PAP2 V2 is not allowed you to use the Alphabet in the user ID field (Ex. Exxxxxxxxxx01).zimzam88 wrote:Just got a PAP2V2 working on MJ.

The PAP2-v1 is OK with MJ but IF you are able to use the PAP2V2, would you please share your setup and how. Thank you.
Cheers,

There is an inherent risk that your account could be terminated because the proxy server will see that two of the same credentials from different IP's are registered at the same time. Only case I have experienced is that the registration server will rekey the user password on the dongle and lockout the offending ATA. Just play it safe; once you have successfully working on an ATA. Keep the dongle the desk drawer thus no headaches =b...zimzam88 wrote:Just got a PAP2V2 working on MJ.

Besides, the cost of getting another number for your travels is roughly $40 USD and go from there. If my memory serves me correctly, by dialing *72 xxx-xxx-xxxx (area code and number) will activate the call-forwarding feature on that particular ATA and *73 to deactivate it...
That's my quarter's worth, but not enough to call someone who really cares at a pay telephone booth...

Double dare ya'...........kostkokid wrote:now i wonder if one used their own pbx to connect to which is already connected to mj, and two calls went out simultaneously would it constitute a violation given that they would only see the registration of the 1 pbx on the 1 ip
