CAN'T MAKE CALLS

Actually, I CAN make calls, however, the number dials, then nothing but dead air...no ringing, no person picking up, no hello... I know the calls are being placed because everyone calls me back and says "Why didn't you say anything when I picked up?" I have spent the majority of yesterday and today dealing with the MJ tech chat...to no avail. I have done all of their little go here and go there things a billion and one times, and, still nothing. I about had it when the 'supervisor' told me to try dialing a 1 first. Hello?!? I just told you my calls are being placed, I just can't hear anything!! If anyone can help, I'd be ever so grateful! The calls I receive are great quality and I have no problem with MJ, as long as I don't want call someone and actually speak to them!!!

I can call my v/m just fine, too... I'm using Windows XP on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. I'd love to be able to figure this out before my trial period runs...

this problem can be characterized as 'one way audio' and has been treated at least half a gazillion times within these pages.

thanks for your response. I have read through and seen that I'm one of many experiencing this problem. However, I haven't seen a fix to the problem yet. Forgive me for not being as technically savvy as you are. I see that i may need to change my proxy setting, but, again, I have no clue how to do that.
