My MagicJack was cut off as my first year of service was up. They did not send the mentioned email to remind me to pay for an additional year.
I've been trying for two days to pay $19.95 for an additional year with my canadian visa card but after my fourth "chat" I was told to wait another two days for an email update on the status. I'm not hopeful. I checked with my bank and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the card.
Has anyone been able to pay for an additional year using a canadian credit card? It seems they're going out of their way to convince me to go back to Skype!!

I was able to use my cdn visa card. After about an hour on their chat line we determined it seemed to be a problem with the mexican state/city being somehow reversed in the data base. I then tried entering the "state" in the "city" field and the "city" in the "state" field and then the transaction went through immediately.
It took some time but in the end it all worked out ok. I was able to make calls a few minutes later. I was a bit concerned about possible duplicate transactions but there was only a single charge to my visa account.
