fix for some errors (read for details)

if you get an error where:
the usb makes no drive letters.
it says "no serial number passed"
it says "error 400" or "error 401" (i think it was 401).
it can't register you ie. email/password.
it shows as "unknown device" in device manager.
it says "usb device not recognized"

it fixed what i thought was an unfixable problem with mine.
