How can I change area code?

Once you've setup your MJ with an area code, can you change the area code? For example, if you moved and want the new area code to be from your new area.

You have to chat with them now I think. There used to be a button where you could change ur number once at my.magicjack.com but they took it off...

Yea that's right. I went to the tech support and there is a "change number" option to click. It took a little while to do but it changed as soon as we hung up. It allowed me to cancel my Grand Central number and use my new local number directl. I also noticed that my caller ID on my hard phone, which is a voice/audio ID is now working since I stopped running the calls through GC. The tech support person at MJ said that the caller ID would only work on their softphone but not on my phone. He was wrong as it's working on both!-Guess I should knock on wood as some are not able to get it to work. I predict this system will have all the bugs out by this time next year and if the price stays the same it will have grown really big.

.... Hello there,

I had a Florida area code for a week and decided to changed it to a Los Angeles area code... went to the chat support and in least that 10 mins, was able to get my new 310 mj number.... haven't find any trouble w MJ in two weeks, and I've been calling all day.... great product!
