my pap2 is new ,do I have to unlock it ,and if I need to register my pap2 mac # with konage before any programing.

If your pap2 is from another voip provider , (e.g. vonage) then yes you have to unlock it. Search the forum for more info on how to do that.
A pap2t-na is sold as a consumer unit that can be programed to a provider of your choice. That's the unit that most people use including myself and they work very well and are easy to configure and require no unlocking.

this is new divice
this a new divice never been used at all .
is in the box is asking me to activate the pap2.
should I do that and provide my mac # to vonage .
