My first fax with Magic jack failed twice?
Wanted to know if any one had similar experience with fax?

Fax works much better with a dedicated analog connection. With VOIP, fax tones are broken up into data packets that travel through the internet that has delays that could cause fax to error out more often. You may want to lower the fax send/receive rate down to 9600, 4800, 2400, 1200 baud to see if it helps.
I've been using maxemail lite for about 3 years now. Works like a charm. $14.85 a year, 500 free incoming pages, 5 cents a page outgoing.
They raised the price to $24 a year now, and cut down to 100 pages free inbound, 5 cents per page outbound.
I tried faxzero.net just now and found that it took a bit too long to send. Limited to 3 pages, 2 faxes max per day. I can get around the 2 faxes a day limit by using a different email, but can't get around the 3 pages limit. 3 pages per fax is a bit too limited for my faxing needs.
Btw, Faxdigits gives you free unlimited inbound to your email as pdf's. Works great. If I can find a good free outbound faxing solution, I might as well ditch maxemail too.
