Still Error 400 - Can I register a new MJ on a diff server?

Since I'm still getting an Error 400 with the area code of 410. It's been over three weeks now without service. The tech support are pretty much useless and who knows if the engineers have any idea wtf is going on, or can "upgrade/fix" the current mess they're in. What I'm thinking of doing is buying another MJ, but.... My question is this..

Can I buy a MJ and register it so that it'll connect to a WORKING server? Or will it register to the same one I'm currently on no matter what area code I pick and I'll still get Error 400s?

Btw, if I can register the new MJ on a different server, what area code would be a safe bet for things to actually work? i.e, who has a working MJ on a decent backbone? I need some area codes people!

Also, should I send in for a replacement or just keep the one I have and sell/give the new one to a friend, or use it as a backup for myself. If anyone knows what exactly the server side issue is at this point.

I figure if it does work like that, another $40 is a drop in the bucket compared to what I'm paying on my cell to call Canada.
