My mj has gone on the fritz, and I am thinking about moving the mj info onto my hard drive.
My question is: If I leave my computer on, and install the mj to my C: drive to get rid of the dongle, will this allow my call forwarding to work at all times?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: question about call forwarding when not using the dongle
Maybe I don't understand the question. Call forwarding is configured at the MJ user portal (my.magicjack.com). Call forwarding works when you don't have MJ running. It has nothing to do with whether you're running with or without the dongle.

I've had trouble with MJ call forwarding not working too. It (like voice mail) isn't too reliable. I wouldn't rely on MJ for important things like responses to job applications, etc.allwired wrote:ok, I wasn't sure, I originally had a problem with the call forwarding not working, which mj tech support help me fix. I was under the impression that the mj needed to be connected and running in order for the call forwarding to work
Also, chat support isn't very reliable either. See the MJ FAQ about whether your computer needs to be on: http://service.liveperson.net/hc/s-7333 ... ction=view
