MJ just wants your money

Post by logicrules »

Hi guys,
I’m new here and I see many of the problems I’ve been having.
What I believe to be MJ’s biggest problem is their hardware (the MJ itself) it may appear to be a nice device but its’ innards are shabby.
I have been using it for a bit longer than a year and suffered the normal break-in period but since I have added another year to my service the device has continuously gone south.
The first problem was their USB cable failing. After replacing that the problems wandered all over the place, periodic cutoffs in mid conversation, interruption of my internet connection, plugging the device in and not getting any CD drive for it to perform it’s connection, and various problems too hard to remember exactly what but just a pain in the ass.
If I plug the device in it MAY connect or it may not. Changing USB ports makes no difference; be it on my computer or in a powered port.
Any attempts by me were futile so I had to make repeated calls to their CHAT in order to find out what was happening, and how to fix it. I don’t recall how many times I chatted but it is upwards of ten times; a half hour to over an hour on each try.
I told them about the connection being lost if I shake or inadvertently move the device and they said “so what’s wrong with that?”
Any request by me to get another device was ignored. Now it has gone past my understanding.
I attempted to terminate the service but was told I can’t get my money back so it would be a dead line unless I found a way to use it. This brings me here.
One of the things I find most annoying is that MJ does not supply an uninstall program. They say there is no download but any user knows that to be an outright lie. A look at the registry will show there are many files to get rid of but they can not afford to pay someone to develop an uninstall program; poor babies just stuffing their pockets and let the users be damned.
I appreciate their ability to develop the technology but their indifference sucks.
Logic rules, we have all heard it before; we just don't want to pay attention.
