Thank you for reading,
Was very happy with Magicjack for the firt 2 weeks but MJ stopped suddenly.
Have chatted with tech support on 2 occasions and after 2 hours, I gave up on them.
Getting error message : Please connect to the internet and double click, which I have done and entered login/password, same error message. I do not see any error number unless I'm mot looking at the right place.
Magicjack has to be connected since I see my 911 address.
Tried thru magicfix Online and get error message : Unable to access your magicJack, IMPORTANT: If you are not fixed CLICK HERE which runs the Upgrade, no luck.
Did the Vista update.
Magicjack is connected to a USB port on PC which is connected to cable modem directly (no router).
Tried different USB ports.
No phone connected to the Magicjack
Using Bitdefender for AV and firewall and still does not work even if Bitdefender is closed
Did a rescue, unplugged the cable modem and PC for 3 min, still the same.
Tech support suggested that I remove magicjack.exe from the Process in Task Manager which I did, same error message.
I know that Microsoft Vista Ultimate did an update a few days ago, can this be related ?
The Magicjack device is not defective since I tried it on my laptop connected directly to the modem and it works.
Running Vista Ultimate with Comcast cable modem.
Your help will be greatly appreciated,
Thak you

I've tried it as well and it is a legit program.. It came off a MJ server once upon a time. From my understanding, it basically resets the data on your MJ back to factory default. Try that, and if that doesn't work.. You could also go through some USB registry settings and/or completely remove MJ from your system and start from scratch.HolmanGT wrote:Have you tried the MagicJack recover program?
