configure for MTA6328RE

Post by diplexer »

Trying to set up Sunrocket MTA6328RE for MJ. I've got all my info from Fiddler but just can't configure my sip device correctly. I unlocked the device but obviously not entering the info correctly. What info from "fiddler" goes where? I've changed the port to 5070. Not sure what to use for sip proxy and sip domain. I've tried proxy domain info from fiddler in both boxes. Changed my user account settings to the username and password "fiddler" provided. Provisioning is off. Is the information box supposed to show "registered" after rebooting? I only get a busy signal on the phone. Can someone please PM me some help. Thanks.

Ok, the MTA6328 register status page does not show the sip proxy as registered but when I hook the device up to my router I actually get a dialtone and can dial out. However, I do not receive incoming calls. Is this something missing in my setup? Is it possibly my firewall blocking incoming calls?

On VoIP->SIP Proxy page:
SIP Proxy: 67.90.152.70:5070
Use Outbound Proxy: checked
SIP Local Signaling Port: 5060
SIP Domain: 67.106.133.198
Registration Expiration Time: 60
Preferred CODECs List: PCMU/8000, PCMA/8000

VoIP->User Account page:
Line No.: 1
User ID: E212555121201 (use your account name from Fiddler)
User Password: (from Fiddler)
Confirm Password: (same as above)
User Name: unknown (or your name)
Authentication ID: (same as User ID)
Use Hot Phone Number: No
Enable T38 FAX: No

If you still have trouble, telnet in, set debug mode and trace level, report what error you get.

Sorry, did not see your last post when I posted. MJ does not support multiple registrations, so you must unplug your MJ if using another device. Then reboot the Inno and test incoming again. Did incoming work correctly with your MJ?

Thanks. MJ device was disconnected. I changed my firewall to allow port 5070 and incoming now works. You guys are great.

Thanks Stewart, that was enough of a hint to get the SPA2102 up and going. I appreciate it.

Any luck on setting up the 2nd line on the InnoMedia??

Post by msiam »

I have tried and failed on the set up of the 2nd line on my InnoMedia from SRocket, It would seem that there would be some success stories in here on the application. I cant seem to find them, can anyone point me to them? I Have voipvoip on the 1st line and ..Well you know the rest of the story.. Thanks for any help..

I was a former Sunrocket customer. From my research, the Innomedia can't be used for a different VoIP provider for the 2 lines. The other line however can be used as a "second line" from the same provider.

Thanks Alpineman.. That seems to clear up why I was seeing some of the same settings in the 2nd line and couldn't seperate them.. At least it is possible, and that is good to know. Now when MJ allows byod, I will be set :wink:

What is the difference between SIP Proxy and SIP Domain...
Can both be same? - the proxy I got from SIP 2.0 information?
(or)
SIP Proxy is the one from [SIP 2.0] info and SIP Domain always stays as the 67.106.133.198 ?
