Just got my magicjack in mail today. Connected to the USB port and green magicjack icon pops up, says its downloading in progress. Moments later error msg pops up saying:
There was an error starting your MagicJack, from another phone please call us toll free at 888-230-0060 for assistance. Error connecting to host
No surprise the given number doesnt work, i have read some threads but it doesnt seem like i have a connection problem.
I'm in Toronto with Rogers Broadband, no firewalls or antiviruses, no routers.
Any suggestions?
P.S. I have not tried installing magicfix - all magicjack links are not working, doesnt anyone know where i can get it?

MJ is down at the moment, it is not a problem on your side it is a problem on MJ server side you will have to wait untill the problem is resolved,the way I see it if the MJ company gets a network outage then most MJ users will not be able to use MJ untill the network is back up,My mj is not working properly at the moment so just give it some time and try again,good luck.

Thanks, got past that error now but says no "New registration is currently unavailable".
