i want to use the microsoft dialer to dial thru the magicjack....it would also be useful to use my software fax dialer to dial thru the magicjack. so, how do i interface program dialer touchtones to the magicjack screen? this use is without a modem. anyone with the hack?

Hook your internal telephone modem where it says line to the phone output of your magicjack then you can use any dialer (internal fax or ms dialer).

thank you, but as the question states, " this is done without a modem" ...the technical parameter for this solution is to be done without a modem.......perhaps i should say, "how do you do this without a modem?" my question is directed to a software solution only....it may be a line of code, a batch file, or it may be a registery entry... a good hacker will know how to route dtmf tones between the two softwares. the answer should not contain the word, "modem" .

Don't know if this will help, but I remembered something from a long time ago:

http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/auto ... -t271.html

I wanted to post this before the thread got too old. I haven't read it for a long time, so forgive me if it's not what you're looking for.

EDIT: I just went through the post. The topic can be somewhat controversial. I don't know if the solution is good for the average person, i.e. a non-commercial application because of the expense. FWIW, I did a fairly comprehensive search for a software based dialer about +1 year ago and found nada.
