After logging into my.magicjack.com today, I noticed a new option is available: MagicJack Settings, which appear to affect something to do with keypad beeps not registering in automated phone systems. Can anyone provide more detailed info about what this setting does?

To me it sounds like if people can not generate a tone on their phone when connected to say a bank ( to enter their SS# or Account #) they check this setting....


At least that is what it means to me...

I also believe that was how they fixed the beeping issue; they must have turned down something related to DTMF settings, but for some people that might mean the DTMF tones no longer work with automated systems.
