After wanting to pull my hair out several times trying to get MJ to work on my Mac, I decided to plug it into my PC. Wow, who would have thought things would be so different? I can now place outgoing calls consistently when it's plugged into the PC. I know I have things setup correctly on the Mac, as I can successfully dial 800-555-1212.
So what is causing the difference? Why does the Mac softphone only allow 800 numbers for the most part? I say most part, because once in a blue moon I can dial out on the Mac too.
Ugh! This is very frustrating.
Works better on PC than a Mac....why?

No comment or this will sound like "Hi I am a mac and Hi I am a PC commercial"
Never had a mac so I really cant say why the PC is better with the MJ. I assume it has to be software compatabilty. Have you tried to run the MJ on your mac using the PC mode?? Assuming you have an Intel based mac that is.
