Magic Jack used as a house phone with mulitple devices.

I found if I connected magic jack to a wireless phone jack (ie:RC926 GE926 etc.) it will ring all the phones in the house. I have 11 devices on my phone line (ie: Phones, wireless phones, answering machine, computer modem, etc.) and it rings them all. I plug the magic jack into the base unit and connect the extension unit to a jack on the house phone circuit and it works. The wireless phone jack is powered by 110v and that gives the power needed to power all the devices on my phone circuit. I do disconnect from MA BELL outside and at that time majic jack is my house phone.
My Magic Jack has been great, the quality of the call is directly related to the quality of the internet feed you are getting at the time of the call. If your feed is bad your call will also be bad (true with any VOIP phone). Any additional info my E-Mail is [email protected]

dcwolf, This sounds interesting. When you say "base unit" do you mean the wireless telephone's base unit? Does this base unit have a USB port that you plug MJ into? Or by "base unit" do you mean your PC?

Works fine. I have done this before myself. Not with 11 devices though.
