Hello, guys.
I'm new to the forum. I just got off a 4 hour chat with the representatives.
And, none of them helped solve my problem.
Whenever I pick up my phone, there is a dial tone that never goes away. I dial and dial, and it resumes. However, I could receive calls and dial 'em from my computer. The sound quality has also gotten worse. Any ideas on why and how I may fix this? Thank you very much.
Continuous Dial Tone.

Go to my.magicjack.com enter your email address and password.
Scroll down a bit to the grey bar my.magicjack then click on magicjack settings. Enable PIN not reconized by checking the box. Then reset your MJ. Safely remove it by the safely remove hardware icon in the lower right of your windows screen ( it is a green arrow). Remove your MJ, count to 30, plug it back in. You may also have to reboot.
See if this helps.
SOME Panasonic phones have that problem which seems to come and go with MJ updates. Did you try another phone?
Let us know how you make out.

Ok one other thing then, have you tried it on a different PC?
IF the same thing happens I can only conclude you MAY have a defective MJ..
If you bought it locally and you can return it for a replacement, I would do so.
Dumb question all of the phones you have tried are NOT Panasonic's are they?
Other than that I don't have any other suggestions, sorry. MAYBE someone else here can come up with an idea.
Anyone?????

Continuous dial tone
I have the same problem. It was working fine until last month. Now I cannot dial out using various phones. However, I can use the soft phone. When I do receive a call, the person on the other line says there is an echo when they talk. I've also tried three different computers. I too sat on the phone with tech support without any luck.
