I've had MJ since July and there has never been a month without problems.
Two new problems.
1. Magicfix won't load-error message says "Can't find page."
2. When I dial for voicemail, a voice come on with a "goodbye" and then I get a dial tone, but no voicemail.
Green light no longer working.

sligg,
I sympathize with you and I have the same kind of problems now and then. All I can say is they are currently working on the system a lot and mine seems to behave slightly different from hour to hour.

Re: The never ending saga of MagicJack
That's why users should not depend on MJ as their primary line. But with the rates, it makes a great second line and backup for other VoIPs.sligg wrote:I've had MJ since July and there has never been a month without problems..

lenagainster,
I agree with your opinion - MagicJack when they are not dinking with it works very well. But I sure wouldn't give up my land line for it unless I had a cell phone backup.
Actually MagicJack is still a money saver if you only use it as your long distance carrier, and that way when it is acting up it is not going to make you break out the tin cans and string.
Two Cents.
