recorder for MJ

Hi im desperate on looking for a program or software that can record calls, capturing both parties while using the magic jack..

please help.. i already tried some downloads on the internet but all that can be heard from the recordings is my own voice..

i even purchased a license for the MRECORDER ($20) thinking that it would work but sad to say it did not..

You can download Wireshark or Cain for free; these will let you record both sides of the conversation. There's another some of the other forum users prefer, but I don't remember the name. A search should bring it up.

FWIW, I prefer Wireshark because it records both channels. A little tricky to use but if you need instructions, send me a PM. I just stumbled across an old cheat sheet I made for myself for WS. Good luck!

wow sir steve... thanks a whole lot for your help.. finally i have something that can really record and capture both channels and its clear.
thanks for the simple and detailed tutorial.. but yes i dont know how to save it in a friendlier file format e.g. MP3 ..
hope you can still spoon fed me on this one.. Very Happy
