Panasonic phone

Post by sabresfan »

I bought a new Panasonic dect 6.0 phone system and I'm really disappointed with the audio quality. Everytime I make a call I hear a hissing sound and the audio skips out from time to time. I don't have any problems with my GE and Vtech phones that only cost half as much this Panasonic phone system. It has some really nice features like talking caller id, speakerphone on all the handsets and night mode to select the times when you want the phone to ring. I tried ajusting the volume on the handsets and with MJ and the hissing sound won't go away. I guess this is a lesson learned for me if it ain't broke don't fix it.

take it back and get your $$ some of those features are overrated, i have a panasonic dect 6.0 as well talking caller i.d is annoying and cant even pronounce names correctly its off on my phone, so call caller block still lets your phone ring at least once.

I returned it this morning. I talked to a few people today on my Vtech phone's and the calls sounded much better than the Panasonic.

I have the panasonic dect 6.0 phones upstairs and down in my living room and the talking caller id just says the phone number, but when I had Vonage she couldn't pronounce any name correctly.

My favorite phone is at my computer desk, it is a cheap 900 MHz Uniden that I picked up for one dollar at a Lutheran Church garage sale. Have had it for over a year and the battery is still fine.
