GV + G5 + sipsocery, incoming call not working.

Hi I have set up my pap2t with GV + G5 with sipsocery to get free outgoing calls. all outgoing calls are working great and confirmed on G5 that they are routing through sipsocery for free.

The problem is when I call my google voice which is routed to my G5 on my pap2t. I answer the call but can not hear anything!!

When I switch to my setup back to without using sipsocery, everything is working outgoing and incoming. The only thing that is different is the proxy and outbound proxy. Am I suppose to change both proxy fields to "sip.sipsorcery.com" or only the outbound proxy field?

Or is this part of the flakyness that people have talked about using G5 with sipsocery?

Aaron, the guy running the sipsorcery server, apparently caused a bug last night trying to enhance the service and this incoming/no voice has been an issue with all providers (aka contact URI's) through to SS (paid or free). In all cases, your phone would ring but the voice packets were incorrectly mangled causing ACKs to not get properly through, thus, no voice.

It's supposedly fixed now. Sipsorcery outages, when they occur, get fixed quickly by using these forums to post Full Sip Traces to easily find root causes and corrective actions. I still highly recommend using GV/SS and a free DID provider over MJ.

Syncron:: Thanks. that apparently was the issue, as now I can get incoming calls fine.

But a different issue popped up. If I call my GV which goes to G5 number from a non GV phone, then it will ring all the phone correctly.

But if i Dial from a GV phone then the other GV phones do not ring correctly, my cell phone rings even when I hang up the dial phone, the G5 does not ring at all. Earlier it was Cell phone would not ring but G5 would ring.

Is this also a SS problem?
