MJ update to 1.80.499.2, MJMD5 BROKE!

My ata died this morning. I plugged in the mj to have a looksee and

BAM

the little bastard updates and then has the nerve to ask me for email:pw verification

the new version is 1.80.499.2
my sip user:pw remains the same
mjmd5 doesn't work even upon changing user agent of ata!!

THIS SUCKS

Yeah it sucks,but I told you they would make it harder to keep a ATA operational.

That's not a new version.
It has an August 1 release date.

Had to correct my post.

I was no longer getting a dial tone, despite the fact the PAP2T was showing it was online. Instead of a dial tone, I was getting a very strange noise, almost sounded like a machine gun .... not good.

Line 1 of the PAP2T failed, line 2 is working fine.

you and your laws Murphey... it is the newest release, which is what I meant... I believe they are redeploying mandatory upgrades in force and many of us who use ata's will be affected negatively.

didn't tell me directly, something I figured would happen in time anyway

Although, I am in for the long haul of my remaining 6mos of service!
