Win7 "Secret" optimization's -NoNooBS

Post by magicFox »

Since I'm a techie and my hobby has been computers for 20yrs. I found some very "New" optimization's in Win7 that does help the quality of the calls on the magicJack/VOIP system's. :)

1. /Task Manager/=magicJack.exe=*Above Normal" Priority.

2. /CP/System/Advanced = CPU management="BackGround Services"

3. /Admin. Tools/Services = Change too "Automatic (Delay Start)"

3a :"Quality Windows Audio Video Experience" (This does ALOT of things accord. to M$, Just google it and read it its new for Win7 !)

4. restart computer

FYI: Step 1 needs to be done after every restart it will never hold the "Priority"

Optional: If you have a SSD HD make sure to set the "Pagefile" to 2048=4GB RAM, 1024=8GB RAM, Hit "SET" then, RESTART. :) 8)

A little program called "prio" will solve your priority retention problem. When you get to the site, click on download and you will have a choice of 32 or 64 bit programs. Restart computer for Prio to take effect...works GREAT!

"Prio - Priority Saver Prio will save the applied changes and each time you start this process from now on, it will set the saved priority for it. You will not have to change the ...

3a. I had another one up but I read in finer detail that "BranchCache" is for a SubNet.
