Spoofing w/ PAP2T

Post by stav »

Any ideas on how to spoof my MJ phone number tweaking or using commands in Linksys PAP2T interface?
Thanks

Sorry, caller-id spoofing a MJ via any means has not been possible for nearly 2 years.
Thanks to the losers whose abusive practices made MJ eliminate this neat hidden feature.

Thanks for the quick answer.
I should have added that I'm running MJ via DD-WRT/MJMD5 on PAP2T. By far not an expert but I have a feeling that MJMD5 being a proxy, one could hide the CID. Not sure how though. What's your opinion on that?
Thanks

Can you help me configure mine, I am having problems configuring the ATA, it keeps saying "Can't connect" I am running inside DD-WRT as you are with the MD5 proxy thingy, that side is working well. Please help me configure my ATA with the right settings.

I can confirm that Spoofing works with T-Mobile@home service. Whatever information I enter in the "Display Name" field of my SPA-3102 shows up on the caller ID of any T-Mobile@home service. Could not get it to work on any other system/POTS line!

There is a lot of info in this thread for that. Just read through. Here is how I did it. Open the attached .pdf with my settings for a Linksys PAP2T. Hope it helps.
