everyone's MJ license now auto-renews by default
See

Basically, at http://my.magicjack.com , there is now a well-hidden auto-renew setting which is on by default, and no one was notified. If you were planning to just let your license lapse, go there and turn the auto-renew off. Click on the word "Details" in "RENEWAL - Details" to see and change the setting.

It's also not clear whether the auto-renew is for one year or five. They should say which, and let people choose.
Edit: Until this is clarified, everyone should just turn auto-renew off and do it manually. I wouldn't be shocked if they tried to auto-renew everyone for five years.

To disable AUTO-RENEW:
Login to http://my.magicjack.com and click on "Details"

You should now see this on the screen with the Disable Auto-Renew in gray at the bottom right to click.

Now you can disable Auto-Renew on this pop-up screen

You should now see this screen to confirm you do not have auto-renew activated

For anyone who didn't read my post in the other thread, MJ changed the design of the page again. Now there is a "RENEWAL" section, and to see one's expiration date, you have to click on that section's button. Still no mention if auto-renew is for one year or five. I don't see any mention of it in MJ's FAQ's/Knowledgebase either.
