MJ stops working after splash screen

Everytime I try to start my MJ the splash screen comes up then disappears and then nothing. I have formatted and tried to use the windows7 fix nothing is working. Any suggestions????????????

It's a common problem, try re-steeping your tea bag.

I was having the same problem. So I started from scratch with the steps in this thread and later discovered how to fix the hung splash screen issue.
