I have an older system; IBM ThinkCentre, Pentium4, WinXP. Uninstalled Nero and IBM DLA and ran CCleaner to get magicJack to work. Would only start after running upgrade.exe. When the computer is restarted, magicJack will not start unless I run upgrade.exe. Every time!
Any ideas what might be going on, or what I should look for? It would be nice if magicJack would restart automatically without the 'hoop jump'.
Thanks.
Need to run upgrade.exe every time computer is restarted

Please try the following steps for your issue .
1.Click on start and press R key to get run window . Type devmgmt.msc there and press Enter.
2.Now click on + sign next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers
3.Please right click on first entry and select Update Driver
4.Harware setup wizard window will pop-up and there select " Yes, this time only " and click on Next
5.Now select "Install from a list or specific location(Advanced) " and click on Next
6.Then click on " Don't search. I will choose the drive to install " and click on Next
7.Now click on Next again and click on Finish to complete.
Please do the same thing with all entries you see under Universal Serial Bus Controllers
Under each USB root hub right click and pull up properties...Find the power management option and uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." Again make sure you do this for each of the USB root hubs listed.
After following the above steps you will not need to run the upgrade after rebooting your PC
