Ok here is my problem/question....MagicJack is plugged in to a USB port on the back of my computer, MagicJack works good and its Softphone Caller ID works (it also works on a USB in the front of my computer as well) but the caller ID on my regular cordless telephone does not work at all (no matter which USB port I use for MagicJack the USB port on the front of my computer or the USB port on the back of my computer).
So I used the CID fix (standard phone coupler with a 100k resistor 1/4 watt) and the caller ID on the cordless phone will only work if I plug MagicJack into the USB port on the front of my computer, but it will not work if I plug it into the USB port on the back of my computer. But I need to use the back USB port for MagicJack (the front port I use for my headset), what can I do?
Fix needed?

lenagainster,
Thanks for posting your suggestion. I had started one of my long winded replies saying the say thing only with a lot more words.
When as this site does to me way too often decided to abort my post. I got mad and said the hell with it and left the site.
But I like you think that is his only shot.
Regards,

maybe you always needed a hub?
i bought a new cheap cordless phone 2.4 ghz at walgreens, the GE phone for 17 bucks on sale in flyer this week, plugged it in and CID works fine with no modifications. It's funny as i am also using wireless network (usb adapter to netgear). No issues.
so you have a couple choices
