I am a new MJ user and I'm having some trouble with it. The first day I had MJ it worked perfectly. It has now been 7 days and I'm having lots of problems.
The first problem is that every time I restart my pc or the MJ I have to change the rules on my bell sucurity solutions firewall just to get it to connect. It seems that the MJ is not recognized after restarting. I get error 3 or 9. It just becomes annoying to have to do this every time.
The next problem is that in order for me to hear the caller on the other line I have to turn off the Bell firewall. The other caller can hear me but I don't hear anything once the call is connected (the other end answers). I do not want to have to turn off my firewall to use this thing.
I'm using Win XP, Bell Internet 2wire modem/router and Bell Internet Security Solutions 8.0 but it is worth mentioning that I did have the same problems running it on a Vista machine with the Bell firewall.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
