mj keeps shutting down and restarting

just had my license extended the other day and got to use it a bit. the following day it started this weird process:

1. once plugged in, mj starts up
2. keypad shows up but my number doesn't appear and stays at 000-000-0000
3. then it shuts down by itself
4. it shows the upgrading splash screen then restarts
5. goes back to step one

*sigh* a lil help here pls

customer service really aint helping
