I just got my Magic Jack today and it runs with NO problems on my 1.83Ghz Macbook with Snow leopard 10.6.2. 1 gig RAM through an Airport Extreme. Wired phone. Call audio is AWESOME on both ends. Voicemail seems to work fine as well.
The install was flawless. They had a local number for my area. People bitch about the ad pane, WHY? It's nowhere close to being intrusive. Shrug....
It put NO FILES on my hard drive. No registry on Macs either!

I did my install last night with no issues on Win7. Worked flawlessly unlike Microsoft OS install where you have to beg for legacy drivers. Got a Canadian area code (willing to pay the extra $10 for the convenience) and got the call forwarding working without any issues.
Quality is ok, small hiss in the background, but I remember when Bell used to have crappy connections too....
All in all, a good experience.

I find the ad useful and leave it up so I can see any missed calls at a glance. I certainly have no problem with it, but can see why people might if they're in the middle of doing something when it pops up.Tommyr wrote: People bitch about the ad pane, WHY?
