Microsoft error screen on thin client after one call.... fix

I think I have found a fix!!! If the date is changed, in my case to 2009, commit the changes to the TC and reboot, MJ seems to work with no Microsoft error message "MajicJackUSB Softphone has encountered a problem and needs to close". It worked for 30 minutes and I made several phone calls. Unfortunately I also run a weather program on my thin client computer feeding updated information to WeatherUnderground on the web. Backdating the date stops my updated weather information from being displayed on the web so I had to change the date backto 2010 and MJ now has the error srceen after one phone call. Hope this information will at least help some TC users.
