The good folks at magicJack are now charging $4.95 to change your number for the first time and $10.00 then afterwards.
Back when I got my first magicJack in February 2008 I was told that Canadian numbers were "coming very soon" and it would be free one time to change to a Canadian number. We Canuckistanis now know that isn't true.
yea that stinks, I was a early adopter and thought I still had that one time free change. I was going to change my number recently but was afraid my sip password would change (now that it's hard to discover)
I've had a MagicJack for 2 1/2 years now, and I'm STILL waiting for a goddamn local phone number. If and when I finally get one, I don't expect to be charged for it, since it was no fault of my own that I couldn't get one originally.
looks like mj wont last much longer if they are doing this seems they are trying to get as much as they can be for it ends first the 5 year plan now the phone number i bet the $19.95 will move to $29.95 in time kinder sucks but was fun while it last
