waiting for the registration screen

Post by HalfTec »

Is it possible that magic jack's registration server is overloaded?

It goes through the process of online updating but then freezes when trying to load registration page.

Also,Is there any way to check to see if all drivers are installed?

Went to their online chat line.. DOA...any help would be appreciated thank you,
:?

I just rebooted my computer, and now I can't connect my magicjack.

Thanks for your response chadmd23. From what you're saying if you're on and is working.. stay on. Maybe these guys bit off a little more than expected this early. I imagine the big boss could sell those two little dogs and crank up some more bandwidth. LOL

Saw a spot on TV that these guys are getting 250,000 new people a month. From what I readAmajor response like this was planned for. We'll see.. but for now I personally can't get the registration page. Please post when you get back on because there still may be something wrong with my setup. Thanks... :(

I spoke with tech support and they gave me a new update to load, and it now works.

It looks like the new software may sync your contacts with a server.

up and running

Post by HalfTec »

After a second go round with tech support these guys finally got this thing going for me. Still very surprised about the amount of effort they put into a $20 purchase. For some reason had to go backwards on the upgrades.
The Downgrade file that they sent me did the trick. There was a notation on their website that if I did not have a specific problem that they were highlighting not to use this downgrade because it may screw up your software. Anyway finally loaded the downgrade and now I'm up and running. Thank you for all your input and information about magic Jack.
