Voicemail from someone else's magicjack????

I just got a magicjack voicemail to my email, nothing wierd there right?

Accept, upon listening to it, the message appears to be one side of a phone call...not MINE.

Seems like some other MJ user called their doctor to ask some questions...and for some reason the voicemail system recorded it (but only the MJ users side of the conversation)...and then emailed the recording to ME as a voicemail!?!?

Anyone else have this happen?

Really wierd...and now i can't believe i heard what i heard on that recording! UGH..it's gonna take years of therapy to get rid of that from my head.

I haven't had that happen yet ininsein. From the sound of it, I hope I never do.

Yeah. It's really odd.

I'm guessing the "from" phone number in the email is the other persons magic jack number. Seems to me she called her doctor and something in the MJ system recorded her side of the conversation...and then for some God foresaken reason decided to email the recording to ME as if it was a voicemail on my MJ account!

The recording is about 3:28 (i'm not at the computer i d/l'd the email on..so i'm guessing at the length) and from the part i listened to; it's definately not someone accidentally leaving me a message...she is DEFINATELY talking to someone on the phone...at her doctors office.

I can't even imagine would kind of a screw up in their system/network could cause this to happen.

That's very weird. If it happens again, you may need to call that number and tell her what's happening so she can try to get her account straightened out. You may also wind up contacting MJ Support if it continues.
