I cannot hear other party after a few minutes, inbound calls

Recently I've started using my Google Voice phone number to call out. If you don't know how it works, it calls my MJ # (inbound to MJ) and then connects me to the party I'm calling. Many of these calls have been fine, but sometimes after a few minutes I cannot hear them anymore. They continue to hear me fine, but all I hear is silence.

If I make an outgoing call directly to them via the MJ it is typically fine. I'm trying to determine if this is an issue with Google Voice or incoming calls to my MJ (as GV dials my MJ before connecting me to the other person).

Does anyone else have knowledge about this or experienced the same thing?
