How to get SIP?? actual way

Hi. I am new to MJ and all of this. I just got my MJ TODAY (i'm very happy with MJ so far MJ works great), so i don't know what version i have. after doing some readings I still don't know or understand how to get SIP. most of the post i read don't work now. So what is the actual way to get the SIP?
